Ken Milgate
  Eurolink TutorKenneth is a fifty-eight year old native of Leicester. He is a university graduate with a B.A. Honours in German and an M.A. in Modern German Literature from the University of Newcastle, and an M.Ed. in English Language Teaching from the University of Sheffield. After graduating he taught German and ESOL in Coventry before moving to Durham in 1973, where he now works part-time as a lecturer in TESOL at New College having retired as Resource Director/Principal Lecturer in Modern Languages in 1997.

During his TESOL career he has taught Vietnamese Boat people, Colombian refugees, Primary School Teachers from Hungary and Germany, Libyan oil engineers, Police officers from Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Qatar, and lately Philippine nurses. He has also been involved with the residential teacher training blocks at Eurolink Courses.

Kenneth is one of the tutors for the following units: Lesson Planning, Phonetics & Phonology, Sounds of English and Practice of TESOL. It is possible, should you need to do so, to e-mail Kenneth regarding course work concerning these particular units of the course if he has been assigned as your tutor.   Eurolink TutorChrissy is 42 and resident in South-West Scotland. After a first degree at Oxford University she trained to teach ESOL and has since worked in Portugal, South Korea and Saudi Arabia, as well as in the UK.

Her professional qualifications include an MBA in Applied Linguistics (with special reference to ELT) from Durham University and an RSA/UCLES Diploma in TEFLA. Her roles have included programme coordinator for the British Council in Riyadh and Deputy Dean, responsible for foundation year studies, at the Female College of Nursing in Jeddah. Until recently she ran the English Language Service at the University of Central Lancashire in Carlisle but her main involvement now is ESOL in the community.

On a personal level, she is a mother of three, including two teenagers, and pursuing her love of language with a distance learning Diploma in French.
